We're looking for qualified interpreters with experience in Live written interpreting / Live chat translation / Live captioning for regular future live online events.


What does 'live written interpreting' mean? It's the first time in my life that I see it...

A different way of interpreting Nov 26, 2021

It's like interpreting but instead of interpreting the spoken word out loud it is written down. This is useful for anyone who wants to attend a presentation, lecture, etc. that is in a language they don't speak.

If they had read-aloud document interpreting, I might be intrigued.

Voice to text though? Damn that sounds brutal.

You probably need to type 120+ WPM and sustainably (not burst!) at that.
