Dear Gwenydd,
Thank you so much for this great webinar - you took the words right out of my mouth (as a freelancer)...
If you ever feel you need to add another point to your list of how to alienate a good freelancer:
Give the freelancer an extensive and meaningful job to do (one of the kind that could serve as a good future reference for the freelancer), announce a double proofreading/ review-run between the end-customer and the freelancer, and then, after the first proofreading by the end-customer, get back to the freelancer saying "these are the changes the end-customer 'suggest' - never mind commenting on them, as the end-customer insists on them being implemented"... while the freelancer can see a mess having been made of his/her job, destroying the chance of gaining a good reference for him-/herself (public printed magazine)...
Either way, with this webinar having been a free one, it looks like Proz.com do not send an e-mail providing any download links to the PPT slide show and/or recording, unfortunately.
So, would you mind sending me your PPT file, maybe? I LOVE LOVE LOVE your "ASSUME"-slide!
My e-mail address is [email protected] and again, thank you so much for taking your time to hold this webinar! Loved your sarcastic style, you really made me laugh a lot!
