Hello, I have relocated to Belgium and my accountant in Italy has advised me to close my business in Italy and reopen it in Belgium. I am looking for accountant recommendations - Gent area, possibly. I would also like to know whether there's a way of "invoicing" my customers while I set up my business details again or if I have to wait until everything is settled.

Be "on holiday" for a while

You have a right to be on holiday and working from home elsewhere in the EU. That can last for up to three months. That's what I did when I moved from France to Spain.

That's exactly what I did when I relocated from Belgium to Portugal (it was cheaper than transferring the business) and I kept the same name. My accountant was located in Brussels, I'd be quite happy to give you his name if you're interested. Hope you like Belgium as much as I did!
