Can I invite anyone interested to express their preferences for the venue and date.

Looking forward to meeting other ProZ.com users (and to hearing something about translation in South America from guest visitor and site Moderator Laureana Pavon).

... but I could possibly be persuaded. If it were more at the West Berkshire side of things.

Hampshire preference Dec 9, 2009

Well, being based in Dorset, I would obviously prefer somewhere in Hampshire - Winchester is a nice town (just an idea). But obviously we have to look at other people's preferences first.

Or how about Reading - seems to be quite easy to reach from other parts of the country.

Hi all!
I've organized several powwows in Uruguay and attended some in Argentina, and I feel they are such a great opportunity to find out what others are doing, share experiences, and above all have a good time. I've met many great friends at powwows, that's why I thought it would be nice to attend one in the UK.
I see that both here and on the powwow page Winchester has been mentioned a couple of times. That would be fine with me.
