Two more concordance tools... Feb 4, 2011

Two freeware concordance tools to download. They just work on one language at a time and they are not flexible. If I had some extra money to invest I'd probably buy one, like SDL Multiterm Extract, since I use Multiterm. But those are free.

The first one is called Simple concordance program and you can download it at http://www.textworld.com/scp. The instructions are easy to follow and the result is pretty good but you need to convert your files into .txt format first. To download, go to the link, read the instructions, choose the best option for you and have a try!
The second one is called TextSTAT download at http://neon.niederlandistik.fu-berlin.de/en/textstat/ It's less intuitive and you need to guess almost everything although is quite simple to use. The result is not very clear but you don't need to convert your files because it reads many formats. ▲ Collapse
