When so many people say they are leaving the profession due to lack of work, it seems insensitive, to say the least, to ask if anyone is interested in the stock market. To do so, one would need to have something left at the end of the month. As far as I am concerned, the money I have was hard-earned, so I am not going to gamble it on the stock market!

I don't gamble, I invest wisely, which means regular passive and diversified investment instead of frantic buying and selling of stocks. I hope it will assure me a nice retirement when the time comes and I wish I had started sooner. I do not worry about individual stocks or short-term fluctuations, but I follow them as a general indicator about the state of the economy and any signs of the upcoming AI bubble burst.

Yes but I don't have any money to put into it. That said, if I had, I likely would have just put it into a couple of index ETFs.

I deposit some money into my retirement fund every month. This is invested for me, which means I do not have to worry about the stock market. So although like Liena I am (passively, from a distance) interested, I leave it to the experts to manage the investments.
