Neither have I. And I just don't like sweets at all. When I was a child, it was a custom to bring sweets when you visited a family with children so we always had a box full of chocolates, candies etc. And I would give them away to my thankful peers. Sweets have never been on the menu, we never bake cakes although we generally cook a lot at home.

To those who are not sure what these eggs are like, they are made up of milk chocolate and sugar syrup. That's it. To those who go mountain climbing or extreme camping, this little treat can be a good alternative to plain chocolate and cereal bars as it pack a lot of calories in a very small package. Other than that, confine it to Easter celebrations.

This is what's written on the back of my wondrous creme egg box:

"Each egg contains:
Calories 175 Sugars 25.4g Fat 6.2g
Saturates 3.8g Salt 0.05g"

That makes only 28.2% of the GDA (Guideline Daily Amount) in sugar!!! These things are practically fruit!

There's fibre too - a whole 0.1g, and even 1.3g of protein! They even contain REAL eggwhite - dried, granted - but real egg all the same....

Update:
I not only got a 12-box of regulars, I got two tubes of minis, which I had never had before. My thighs don't know what's hit them!
Another added and unhoped for bonus is that my husband has decided he doesn't like them. I only have to fight with the children now
