Very interesting event!

The content was great, the chats were great. The only thing we would like to improve is to be able to retrieve the whole chat to review later. There was great information on the collaboration chat this morning, but the history button only gives you a little bit, not all, so we missed some of the info because there were too many participants. Still, it was a great translation day! Thank you!!

Insightful event

I enjoyed learning many aspects of the translation profession during the annual virtual event for Translators very much. Thank you so much for organising such an important event on annual basis for us to update our knowledge and skills.

10:59 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All Pavel, imagine the case where you have several short duplicate segments (maybe just one word), and they are translated subtly differently due to the different context
10:59 Apr 8, 2014 Cathy_Atril: 1469690 All Hello, Ali. Do you need any assistance to make your order? I can help you.
10:59 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All if you mark a segment as finished (or translated in DVX3), and then it gets overwritten when you translate another segment, you wouldn't be happy
10:59 Apr 8, 2014 Rana Eid: 1609085 All can I translate .SRT file on this Program
11:01 Apr 8, 2014 Ali Bayraktar: 710657 All Thanks cbodimer, I am trying to remember now with which of my email addresses used in your site during registration. I have been registered on your site 2-3 years ago.
11:02 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All Pavel: if you're in Proofreading mode, you can always force propagation by using Ctrl+Alt+Down Arrow
11:02 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All instead of just Ctrl+Down Arrow

11:05 Apr 8, 2014 Cathy_Atril: 1469690 All That's all, I just wanted to let you know.
11:05 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All Pavel, to a certain extent, that's why we changed Finished in DVX2 to Translated in DVX3, and added the Proofread and Accepted status flags
11:05 Apr 8, 2014 Drew MacFadyen: 601248 All The next presentation - http://www.proz.com/virtual-conferences/604/program/9445 will begin in 10 mins
11:05 Apr 8, 2014 Daniel Benito: 1130548 All in that sense, you're right, since "Translated" doesn't have the same sense of "completion" as "FInished" did.
11:06 Apr 8, 2014 Claudio@Atril: 1765942 All ok
11:06 Apr 8, 2014 Claudio@Atril: 1765942 All thanks
